Rafters is approx four miles from Salcombe, situated in the hamlet of South Huish which is approx one mile from Thurlestone Sands Beach and the South West Coastal Path. There are several signposted walks a few yards from Rafters.
Dogs are welcome at Rafters if they are well behaved but must arrive with their own beds, towels and bowls etc. There are several ‘off the lead’ walks, through the fields from Rafters front door, but during lambing times and when cattle are present, dogs must be kept under close control.
Directions from Salcombe;
On leaving Salcombe follow the road (A381) towards Kingsbridge.
Just a mile after passing Malborough, you will pass the left turning to Hope Cove and approx 50 yards further on take the next left turn signposted S.Huish / Bagton Lane, follow this narrow lane with passing places for just over one mile. Take the right hand turn just after the SawMill and follow the narrow farm lane down to the bottom and turn immediate left.
Rafters is the second barn on the right.
Continue straight ahead up the slight incline to the large private parking area for Rafters.
